Ms. Childs nominated this young lady for the #goodnewscalloftheday for practicing the Art Studio Habits of Mind “Stretching and Exploring” and “Envisioning” during the creation and painting of her sculpture last week!

Due to the weather, learners will start their day in the gym rather than on the playground. At 7:45am, breakfast is served. At 7:50am, the gym will be open for learners.

Mrs. Acheson nominated this young man for the #goodnewscalloftheday. He follows school-wide expectations and is responsible in his classroom. He is new to Journey and has done a great job meeting new friends and continues to build quality friendships with both students and staff.

Ms. Soukup's classroom spent part of Friday afternoon having a “funeral” for fixed mindset. They reflected and wrote all the things they “can’t” do. Afterwards, they put the word “can’t” to rest in their classroom and focused on the power of yet!
