How to Make a Hat by 5W
First, we colored and made our own hat design. Next, we solved some math story problems to see how many hats needed to be made and how long it takes to knit a hat. Then, we wrote our own “how to” story on how we would make our hats ourselves. After we wrote how to make the hats, Miss Wieman handed each of us a hat that looked the like the hats we colored and created. Miss Wieman and her mom knit the hats for us and we love them!
