Horizon Elementary Fourth-graders were fortunate to have Dr. Wermerson speak to the three sections on Tuesday, December 6, 2023. He presented for forty minutes about how to properly clean the teeth, the difference between baby and adult teeth, and foods which would be healthy for consumption.
Dr. Wermerson told the learners that it is important to brush in circles at least twice a day, but brushing more often is ideal. He took time to answer questions and was generous in passing out 76 bags of toothbrushes, toothpaste, and floss.
Dr. Wermerson is very involved in the lives of today’s youth as Wermerson Orthodontics sponsors field trips to the Summit League Tournament for area school districts including Horizon 5th graders and also summer baseball teams in the area.
