We're gearing up for this year's Prom!
Here's what you need to know.
Each HHS Junior and Senior MUST SIGN UP HERE.
Sophomores & Out of School Dates must REGISTER HERE AND purchase a ticket ($20) via Vanco.
Please note that there are other schools having prom on April 22nd, so if you plan to make reservations, appointments, etc., you will want to do so soon.
When is Grand March & Prom?
Saturday, April 22, 2023
Grand March is in the HHS gymnasium and will begin at 7:00pm. Those who are walking through Grand March must arrive at the high school between 6:00 and 6:45pm. Doors will open at 6:30pm for spectators.
Prom will be held at The District in Sioux Falls and will go from 8:30 - 10:30pm. Doors will be open from 8:15 - 9:00pm.
Who can attend/participate?
Grand March:
All HHS Juniors and Seniors can sign up to walk through the grand march with their date (can be a HHS sophomore or out of school date of sophomore status and under the age of 21 if invited by an HHS Junior or Senior).
Participating in the grand march is optional and is not required.
HHS Juniors and Seniors may come watch the grand march as a spectator even if they choose not to walk in the grand march.
Prom:
HHS Juniors & HHS Seniors can attend and must sign up here.
HHS Sophomores & out of school dates (date must be of sophomore status and under the age of 21) invited by a HHS Junior or Senior must complete the online registration and purchase a ticket ($20) to prom via Vanco. A photo ID is required for entrance for sophomores and out of school dates.
What does it cost?
Juniors must have paid their $35 class dues in order to attend. Not sure if you’ve paid? Email Mrs. Ollerich (julie.ollerich@k12.sd.us) or Mrs. Johnson (abby.l.johnson@k12.sd.us) to check.

What is the attire?
Formal attire is expected.
After Prom?
After prom is NOT a school-sponsored event. Community members create and sponsor all aspects of this event. Please contact Tara Foley (taraldev@hotmail.com) with any questions.
After prom will have their own separate fee that is not included in the $35 junior class dues in order to attend after prom.
